How to find your own referral link

Your link is generated for your account, and it lives in one place: the Referrals section. Here’s how to reach it on the website and in the app, and what to check before you send it.

Checked Against Starlink’s own terms and help pages. How we check

Quick answer

Sign in at starlink.com and open starlink.com/account/referrals, or open the Referrals area in the Starlink app. Starlink’s help center points to the Referrals section of your account (starlink.com/account/referrals) or the Referrals area of the Starlink app, and that’s also where you track referrals and rewards under Referrals on the web or in the Starlink app.

On the website

  1. Sign in at starlink.com

Use the account that holds your Residential or Roam plan.

  2. Go to starlink.com/account/referrals

Typing the address works once you’re signed in. It’s the page the help center links to.

  3. Copy the link shown there

It’s a starlink.com address ending in ?referral=RC- followed by your code. That code is what ties an order to you.

In the Starlink app

Open the app, go to your account area and look for Referrals. The help center confirms referrals can be tracked “on the web or in the Starlink app.” Button names and positions change between app versions, so we don’t list tap-by-tap steps we haven’t confirmed on the current version. In 2023 the app’s share option read “Free month for you and them”; that wording belongs to the old program (changelog).

Before you send it: three checks

  • It’s your own link, copied from your Referrals page. Never forward someone else’s link as yours.
  • The person asked for it and has a US service address. The terms leave whether, when and how to share up to you, but contact nobody asked for is banned.
  • You send only the link. The terms’ rule: don't collect a prospect's personal data; share only the link and send them to starlink.com. Don’t collect their address or order for them.

““Unique Referral Link” means the personalized hyperlink or code generated for a Referrer through the SpaceX Customer Portal or other authorized channel for the purpose of tracking referrals under the Program.”

If there’s no Referrals section

The program is for customers on an active Residential or Roam plan; participation may be limited to consumer (non-business) accounts. A Business plan, a line paused in Standby, or an account that isn’t in good standing are the common reasons it’s missing. If none of those fits, ask support in the app and quote what you see.

Questions people ask

Is my referral link the same as a referral code?

The terms define the “Unique Referral Link” as a personalized hyperlink or code generated for you in your account. What the new customer needs is to order through your link on starlink.com; the terms say no other referral mechanism qualifies.

Does my link expire?

Neither the terms nor the help center mention an expiry date. It stays tied to your account while you take part in the program.

I have two service lines. Do I have two links?

Starlink’s 2023 help text said codes were granted per account, not per service line. The current text doesn’t repeat that, so check the Referrals section: whatever it shows is your link.

Why can’t I see a Referrals section at all?

The program is open to customers on an active Residential or Roam plan in good standing and may be limited to consumer accounts. Business plans, a paused (Standby) line or an inactive account are the usual reasons. If none applies, ask support in the app.
